Introduction

So, after having spent enough time searching the 'net only to come up with very little, I've decided to make a little blog to compile information about the films of Catherine Breillat for English speaking audiences. It's really frustrating trying to find a lot of her work if you don't speak French! She sometimes acts in films, but she's primarily a writer/director, which will be the main focus of this blog. She's also a published author... she's written a bunch of books, none of which have English translations. Go and look her up on Amazon.fr.

So, yeah... I may talk about other Catherine Breillat topics as well, but the chief interest is her films and their DVD presentations. Hope this will be of some use to her fellow fans. =)
